Our installation is still not complete
Our installation is still not complete. Our technician was not fully knowledgeable, and he was unable to complete our installation. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to schedule completion. The same technician returned and was again unable to complete the installation. We are now waiting again to schedule completion of our installation. This is very poor customer service, and we would have expected better trained and more knowledgeable technician service.
Don't do It.
Well, they lie to you to get you to switch over to them. and most people like me did. and then when I called my old alarm company to cancel, they asked me why and who I was going with, and I told them and they said that is what they do to scar you in to switching. but it takes forever for them to come take it out once you cancel them.

My upstairs thermostat went offline a day after I switched to Vivint. I tried calling the guy who sold me the system Chris and he gave me the run around, didn’t answer my calls or text. I called support and I was on hold forever. I have been without air since I switched over because my upstairs thermostat went offline. This is very bad business. Can someone please call and help me resolve my issue or I’m forced to switch back to ADT
Nothing is wrong with the service
Nothing is wrong with the service. I have an issue with the way account was created. I did not know and it was not pointed out to me, that a new credit card was being set up. If I had known, I would have paid for the equipment with my own credit card. This should be explained to all new customers
Camera not working properly it's not…
Camera not working properly it's not decting activity in driveway. Left this morning and arrived back at 12:35 pm and camera didn't pick up my activity Camera doesn't show any activity beyond 50 feet maybe. Walked out tonight about 100 feet out 07/31/2025 at 10:00 pm camera didn't detect me What range does the camera have 25 feet or less so it seems.

Installers did a lousy job cleaning up after themselves. Drywall crumbs on the carpet, wood drill chips on the threshold, boxes laying about.
Corruption
I contacted ADT to cancel my account and the person I spoke with transferred me to Vivint Sales Representative who won me over to switching to Vivint and the 2 of them gave me the impression that Vivint was taking over ADT. Of course my ADT equipment couldn't be used for Vivint because it was obsolete and outdated, so I had to get all new equipment $1,4__.__ Our system was installed on Wednesday 7/16/2025. The system looks great and is operating great too. I contacted ADT on the 16th to make sure the transfer of my account was completed from ADT to Vivint because I didn't want to be double charged and they informed me that Vivint was doing some corrupt business and stealing their clients and apparently I'm one of those. Between my wife and I we dealt with several people and our sales representative didn't get the credit for obtaining our business either, but so many people interacting with us made the process rather complicated and I don't even know who gets the credit for my contract. A concern that I have is someone and I think it was an installation supervisor for scheduling the install said to me that he was giving me $20 off each month of the cost of monitoring service for the entire 1st year. My notes aren't clear on the person's identity. I don't see anything that indicates that my account will reflect this discount.
I wanted an exterior camera on my detached garage, but the installation technician said that couldn't happen because of the distance from my home's wireless Internet was to far for connecting wirelessly. I also wanted 2 doorbells, but my installation technician said that 2 would interfere with each other. So an outdoor camera was installed in the area. Other than that, my installation technician did a very excellent job. Equipment looks and functions good.
Vivint did not cover the total buyout from ADT and I did not want to go thru further communication with ADT.unication want to

an updated review, last time someone called me after i left a review. its just like Amazon's Wyze brand but a lot more expensive. almost impossible to cancel and like everyone else said… you’re on the phone talking to a few pointless people before someone finally cancels it. sales rep was cool but the features werent all that. i pretty much felt harass with the constantly trying to bribe me to keep it(with so many different offers). its still on my credit and i cancelled it two months ago(june 2025)
